Ajwa Al-Madina
Al-Madina Ajwa is the most famous type of date palm in Madinah and in the Islamic world. Ajwa Al-Madinah is the one that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, recommended to make in the morning with seven dates from it. It was narrated from Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: In the morning seven Ajwa dates will not harm him on that day by poison or magic) Narrated by Al-Bukhari and on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (Ajwa dates are from Paradise, and there is healing from poison...) Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Madina Ajwa is grown in All of Madinah’s farms are distinguished by their unique shape among the palms, as well as by its distinctive black dates and the Ajwa date palm in Madinah is small in size compared to others.
